The stone for mental clarity and loyalty, Uvarovite can also help its wearer open up the heart chakra, which is probably why around Made In Earth its got the nickname "chromium crush"; it was love at first sight for us. A rare variety of Garnet, Uvarovite is unearthed in Russia and sources are running low. The bright color is due to chromium within the crystals chemical composition. This element reacts similarly to create the red in Ruby and the Green in Emerald. 

With crystals that form in small delicate sizes, you’ll generally only find a light scattering of druzy over a host rock.
